Southern Sundays: Savvy

Jump To Recipe

It has been forever since I’ve done a Southern Sundays post, but today’s featured shop is just what we need to get these Sundays rolling again. Savvy is a local clothing boutique in my hometown of Greenville, South Carolina, owned by my dear friend, Caroline Kimball.  In all honesty, since I discovered Savvy several years ago, I don’t really shop anywhere else.  There’s the occasional trip to Anthropologie or maybe an online purchase here and there, but when I leave my house, if I’m wearing eight items of clothing or jewelry, seven of them are from Savvy.

Savvy has a distinct style that I gravitate towards.  It’s chic, comfortable, a little unexpected, but artful in a way that works on anyone who shops there.  The Savvy girls, Caroline and Celia, are experts at helping each individual customer embrace their personal style and put together stand out looks for any and every daily event from running errands around town, a typical workday, special date nights, vacations or holidays.

Speaking of the holidays, since it’s December 1st and we have only a couple weeks left before Christmas, if you’re looking for a unique gift to give to someone, check out Savvy in store or online.  There are fantastic scarves, belts, necklaces, bracelets and a multitude of other clothing items and accessories that would make the perfect gift for anyone.  If you shop in store, you may even run across a coveted necklace or bracelet that Caroline has hand made.  She is a true artist and has a gifted eye for turning vintage store finds into some of the most beautiful wearables.  Some of my favorite pieces of jewelry are “one of a kind” by Caroline.  Something as simple as an old watch fob or shoe clip can be turned into a statement and conversation piece when worn.

Living locally, I have been spoiled to have these two girls just down the road help me pull looks together, but now everyone else can have them at their fingertips as well!  In addition to being able to shop Savvy online, you can have access to Caroline and Celia styling you through Club Savvy.  You simply fill out a style profile and the Savvy girls will send you hand picked items based on what they think will suit your style.  Check out the Savvy website for more information.  Also, to stay up to date on the newest styles in the store and what the girls are up to by following them on facebookpinterest and instagram (@savvyinc).
